Charming Jordaan neighborhood adds to the experience.
The steep stairs posed significant challenges with luggage, making our arrival stressful. We experienced a power outage that left us without electricity for a night, which was quite frustrating.

Couples seeking a cozy getaway
On arrival, we got an upgrade to a larger room, ! which was a pleasant surprise. The views of the lake and streets from our room were nothing short of breathtaking,, and we spent hours just watching life go by outside.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was still fair for what we got.

What they won’t tell you about this
The location is exceptional with incredible views over the canals the room was clean and well-equipped with a comfortable mattress.
Stairs are steep and narrow which can be difficult to navigate especially with luggage there are insufficient power outlets near the bed.

It was just a reliable pick for a cursory stop in Amsterdam with good value for money. Enjoyed the convenient walking distance to nearby quirky cafes for breakfast. If you're bringing luggage, plan your packing strategy wisely to tackle the steep stairs.

Upon arrival, we received a generous room upgrade, and the view of the canal added to the charm of our stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to tram services and a pleasant walking distance to the city center. while the bed was comfortable, the room could have benefited from better sound insulation, as street noise was somewhat intrusive during the night. the breakfast options were limited, lacking variety in local specialties.

Canal views from the large windows provide a constant glimpse into the vibrant life outside. The charming architecture of the building adds character, with steep traditional stairs showcasing an authentic atmosphere that's hard to find these days.
The double room felt a bit cramped, especially for couples used to more space, and those narrow, steep stairs can be a real workout—particularly with luggage. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, making things a bit awkward post-shower, and the lack of bath mats results in a perpetually wet floor. I also found the bed slightly tilted, which was uncomfortable, and the heating system had a mind of its own, turning on unexpectedly when you tried to turn it off. With only two towels provided but no smaller ones, the bathroom essentials could use an upgrade.

Amazing canal views in a charming neighborhood
Staying in a Double Room with Canal View was a delightful experience! The vibrant life outside was mesmerizing, thanks to the large windows that let in ample natural light. I loved the proximity to quirky local cafes, which added to the charm of the Jordaan neighborhood. While the steep stairs provided an authentic touch, they might not be ideal for everyone, especially with luggage.
