The steep stairs posed significant challenges with luggage. We experienced a power outage that left us without electricity for a night, quite frustrating.

good home base for travelling to amsterdam and exploring local places. units with a view. extra care from the very very helpful and nice staff. great location for enjoying restaurants and a coffee shop near the hotel. restaurants and coffee shops in the surroundings. nice property, 20 km from schiphol airport. such wonderful stay, as always.

Couples seeking a cozy getaway

On arrival, we got an upgrade to a larger room, ! Which was a pleasant surprise. The views of the lake and streets from our room were nothing short of amazing,, and we spent hours just watching life go by outside.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was still fair for what we got.

The location is really good with very nice views over the canals the room was clean and well-equipped with a comfortable mattress.

Stairs are steep and narrow which can be difficult to navigate especially with luggage there are insufficient power outlets near the bed.

It was just a reliable pick for a cursory stop in Amsterdam with good value for money. Enjoyed the convenient walking distance to nearby quirky cafes for breakfast. If you're bringing luggage, plan your packing strategy wisely to tackle the steep stairs.

Upon arrival, we received a generous room upgrade, and the view of the canal added to the charm of our stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to tram services and a pleasant walking distance to the city center. While the bed was comfortable, the room could have benefited from better sound insulation, as street noise was somewhat intrusive during the night. The breakfast options were limited, lacking variety in local specialties.

Staying at the Bridge Inn offered an authentic Amsterdam experience with a fantastic view of the canal. The clean, comfortable bed provided restful nights despite the steep stairs making luggage handling a bit tricky. Close proximity to quirky cafes added local charm to our stay.

The canal view was amazing was nice. The spacious room and comfortable bed also was really good compared to previous experiences in amsterdam.

The double room felt a bit cramped, especially for couples used to more space, and those narrow, steep stairs can be a real workout-particularly with luggage. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, and the lack of bath mats results in a perpetually wet floor. I also found the bed slightly tilted, uncomfortable, and the heating system had a mind of its own, turning on unexpectedly when you tried to turn it off. With only two towels provided but no smaller ones, the bathroom essentials could use an upgrade.

Staying in a Double Room with Canal View was a good experience! The vibrant life outside was nice, thanks to the large windows that let in ample natural light. I loved the proximity to quirky local cafes. While the steep stairs provided an authentic touch, they might not be ideal for everyone, especially with luggage.
